Tins Tins Camping
Tins Tins Camping is located in Vinh Cuu District, Dong Nai Province (the exact location). It's about 66km away from Ben Thanh Market (Ho Chi Minh city's central spot). Settled along Tri An Lake's bank, Tins Tins Camping owns a gorgeous lake view and exciting activities by the lake.
How to get there:
The most wonderful means of transportation is the motorbike. Do not hesitate to experience riding a motorbike in Vietnam if you are an adventurer. This is the best way to explore the beautiful landscape and view along the street.

Cao Minh Island
Cao Minh is an island belonging to Dong Nai Province. As the locals said, years ago, there was a singer who left everything behind, came to Tri An Lake, Dong Nai Province, and explored this land. The island was also called by his name - Cao Minh (Robincao). Cao Minh island brings about a tranquil ambiance, with charming landscapes, greeneries, and a diversity of birds.
Tri An Lake is about 65km away from Ho Chi Minh City's central spot. It takes nearly 2 hours to travel (get there). Besides, you can call the management team (+84 329 964 605) or contact Facebook Fanpage in advance to book a travel car from Ho Chi Minh City to Tri An Lake. From Tri An Lake, they provide a 2-way transport service to Cao Minh island with a fee of around 300,000 VND/person/2 days 1 night (~ $13.00).
Every other service needs to be booked separately, including tent, meals, charcoal grill, sup, fishing, etc. You can bring along your food and equipment if you want. you can experience many engaging activities while staying on the island, such as riding bikes, sup, fishing, etc.

Ma Lu Quan - Camping Ba Den Mountain
Ma Lu Quan is spotted in a valley by the foot of Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh Province. This place covers a spacious campsite by the stream, surrounded by natural landscapes and splendid decoration.
It takes around 2.5 hours to drive from Ho Chi Minh City's center (the exact location). There's a parking lot for both motorbikes and cars. At Ma Lu Quan, you don’t need to bring your equipment or book separately, they offer camping packages that cost 699,000 VND/person (~$30.50), including both equipment and meals:
- Equipment: Mongolian tent set up on the wood floor, mat, fan, power socket.
- Amenities: bathroom, toilet, electricity, water.
- Meals: a complete dinner with hot pot, stir-fried dish, grilled meat, vegetables, soda, and mineral water.
Prepare yourself warm clothes because you might be cold at night when the temperature drops. Staying at this campsite, you can admire the beauty of Ba Den Mountain, which is called “Vietnam’s southern peak”.
Dau Tieng Lake
The reservoir covers around 27.000ha, situated on the way to Tay Ninh Province. Even though this lake is a beloved location for Vietnamese campers, there’s no commercial campsite here. If you’re a wild adventurer, this place is just right for you. The best time to visit Dau Tieng Lake is from December to April, in the late afternoon forward, to prevent dry, hot weather and rain.

Tropical EGlamping
Tropical EGlamping settled on a hill of La Nga Commune, Dong Nai Province, about 100km away from Ho Chi Minh City. From Mai Chi Tho Street, District 2, follow the Long Thanh-Dong Nai freeway, then head to Highway 20 and keep your track as guidance.
Tropical EGlamping has been established in November 2011, one of the newest campsites near Ho Chi Minh City, embracing the best view of Tri An Lake. The facilities here are well designed and properly built. You can both enjoy the comfort of hotels and experience the wild of camping only at one location.

Rung & Bien Campsite (Forest & Sea)
Rung & Bien is situated 120km away from Ho Chi Minh City, belonging to Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. The campsite is under management so that you can ensure safety. You can either camp inside the poplar forest or along the shore.
- Inside the poplar forest: near the management team, easy to ask for support, near the bathroom area. However, there are a lot of people choosing this site so it can be noisy at night.
- Along the shore: nice view of the sea, silent. The disadvantage is that you need to bring your belongings about 200m to the shore.
Regarding equipment, unfortunately, there are no tents for rent at Rung & Bien, you need to bring your own. Don't forget to carry your flashlight with you because there are not so many lights at night. The entrance fee is ~120,000 VND/person (~$5.20), including parking, bathroom, toilet service, and cleaning around the campsite.
Chua Chan Mountain
Located in Dong Nai Province, Chua Chan Mountain is 110km away from Ho Chi Minh City. This is one of the most popular trekking and camping locations for nature lovers. The best experience is to trek to the peak and then camp overnight to fully enjoy a magnificent landscape and a peaceful ambiance. In the middle of Chua Chan Mountain, you can also easily see some pagodas built on rocks, which the locals regularly visit.
The best way for short trips in Vietnam, for sure, is by motorbike. If you want to experience it, follow this route (departing from Ben Thanh Market). You can carry your tent; otherwise, they have tents for rent at the foot of the mountain. Remember to study the trekking routes carefully to not get lost.
Another safer option is to book a trekking & camping tour from agents. They will prepare a pickup car from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai, and cover all meals and equipment together with a tour guide who can speak English. You can check out more information on the website.
There's also a cable car system to transport you to the peak if you don't want to trek. However, spending 4 to 6 hours training your body and will, then reaching the peak and feeling fresh air all over around, enjoying a stunning view from above is still a perfect experience you don't want to miss.
